"Nyamandhlovu"

Nyamandhlovu translates literally as “meat of the elephant” and is the name of the main pan, or watering hole, in Zimbabwe’s Hwange Game Park.  There is a large viewing platform overlooking the pan from which the elephants, sometimes in their hundreds, can be seen emerging from the trees to drink, bathe, and play in the water.
